The Sunday Telegraph reported that a Leonberger named Hagrid held the Guinness World Record for “most items caught by a dog in 30 seconds”.

The dog showcased his skill of catching and eating sausage in 13 seconds at the National Pet Show in Birmingham.

Hagrid owners David and Sarah Woodthorpe-Evans, from Harlow, Essex said they intend to get him an agent. They love to show their dog off. The couple goes to dog shows just to show him off.

The breed which was nearly extinct after the World Wars was developed by crossing Newfies with St. Bernards.

The three-year-old Hagrid eats two or three turkey carcasses per meal every day. In the evening, the dog has a kilogram of tripe for his dinner.

Hagrid, who sets his world record at the London Pet Show on May 10, 2015, stands 80cm at the shoulder. According to Mrs. Woodthorpe-Evans, people stop them to ask them how much the dog weigh wherever they go. They also ask how much food the dog eats and whether or not he has a saddle.
