A study by the Institut de la Statistique du Québec compared 76 different Quebec government jobs to similar jobs in federal and municipal governments and also private companies with over 200 employees.

Syndicat canadien de la fonction publique said that Quebec workers only received 21.6 percent less than municipal employees when pension and benefits are included.
