Taiwan Travel Insurance News

An Investigation Bureau from Taiwan’s Ministry of Justice indicates that three high-profile Taiwanese fugitives namely, Su Chen Tuan, Huang Po Chien, and Huang Li Hsiung, are believed to be in Canada.

The Ministry’s database of fugitives reveals that Su goes by the moniker Lady Nai Nai. The three are wanted by the Taipei District Prosecutor’s Office for their involvement in fraud and other cases.

A report by Focus Taiwan shows that the three fugitives shut down a cosmetic surgery clinic known as Ab Initio Medicina and defrauded clients, investors, and friends of about $42 million.

Su and Huang Po Chien departed from Taiwan to San Francisco through a flight they boarded on November 30, 2018, as confirmed by Taoyuan International Airport immigration officials and made their way across the Canadian border on January 5.
