Brussels Griffons Pet Insurance News

A Brussels Griffon that mysteriously disappeared last year in New Westminster Station has been found. Jackson, an 11-year-old Brussels Griffon-Chihuahua cross was stolen when tied up at the station.

Video surveillance taken in the area shows a woman, about 40 years old, carrying a small dog. When the dog owners returned, the dog was gone but the leash was still intact.

One of the owners Alex Peters said that the dog was gone when he came out. The couple was worried about the disappearance of their dog and spent a few days sharing fliers in the hopes that someone will find the dog.

Peter said: “He’s just an old boy; that’s why we are extra concerned”.

The police did not reveal how the dog was found but rather said it is still carrying out investigations to determine if there was a criminal offense.

Brussels Griffon or Griffon Bruxellois weigh just about four to five kilograms. They don’t normally go well with other dogs but bond well with children. Even though they are small dogs, they try to dominate other dogs.
